Interesting facts about the planet Mercury

 1. The planet of Mercury has three days in two years.  That is, the Mercury revolves around its axis three times in the two-time rotation of the sun.  But until 1962, it was believed that one day of Mercury and one year's time are equal.

 2. The Mercury planet orbits the Sun on the elliptical path.  The nearest distance from its sun is about 60 million kilometers while the maximum distance is about 70 million kilometers.

 3. The environment of the planet Mercury is not stable.  There is also no special layer of atmosphere around it.  Those who come under its purview due to some very atomic solar wind, they soon fly away to space due to the Mercury being very hot.  Due to this, its environment is not stable.

 4. The surface of the planet Mercury is rugged and there are many craters (pits) on the surface.  Some pits are very large, up to hundreds of kilometers long and three kilometers deep.

 5. The planet Budha revolves around the sun at a faster speed than all the other planets, about 1 lakh 80 thousand kilometers per hour.  Earth travels at a speed of about 1 lakh 70 thousand kilometers per hour.

 6. Mercury is the highest density body after the Earth.  The density of Mercury is 5.43 gm / cm3 while that of Earth is 5.51 gm / cm3.  Mercury is 26 times smaller than the Earth.  Scientists speculate that despite being so much smaller than the Earth, having such a high density indicates that the Mercury's center is made of iron like the center of the Earth and that its iron center will be larger than the Earth's iron center.

 7. A huge difference is found in the day temperature and night temperature of the Mercury.  The daytime temperature of the Mercury reaches 450 degrees Celsius while the night temperature remains somewhere below 0 degrees to -176 degrees Celsius.

 8. Mercury planet is smaller in size than Saturn's satellite 'Titan' and Jupiter (Genymede) satellite 'Ganymede'.  Although Pluto is also smaller than the planet Mercury, but now scientists do not consider Pluto a planet, it has been given the status of 'Dwarf Planet'.

 9. If you want to see the planet Mercury from the naked eye, it can be seen just before sunrise and immediately after sunrise.

 10. The people of ancient Rome used to call the planet Mercury the messenger of the gods because it moves very fast in space.
